Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Noel Periarce ("ChatterMock", "we") handles information in connection with the ChatterMock service. It covers three groups: employers (agencies and solo creators who hire), chatters (people with a ChatterMock profile who browse roles, apply, post and message), and applicants (people who complete a mock chat through an employer's invite link).
Information we collect
From employers: account details (name, email, workspace name), authentication data, your public workspace profile, the criteria, model personas, AI fans and content you create, private contact details you choose to add (Telegram, WhatsApp), job posts, and payment records and credit balance.
From chatters: your profile — display name, headline, bio, roles, skills, languages, experience, availability, timezone, country and city, desired rate, photo and cover image — plus a Telegram handle, your applications and any resume you attach, your ChatterMock chat score if you take the test, and anything you post publicly.
From applicants: the information the employer's invite form requests (typically name and email), any files you upload, your chat messages during the mock chat, and derived metrics such as response latency and browser tab-switch counts during the timed session.
From everyone using the community features: connection requests, private messages and any files attached to them, feed posts, comments, likes, saved items, reviews and reports.
Automatically: basic technical data such as IP address and request metadata, used to operate and secure the Service (including rate limiting and error logs), and — only with your consent — analytics and advertising measurement.
How we use information
- to provide the Service: run mock chats, generate AI fan replies, and grade transcripts;
- to operate the job board — show profiles and roles, and deliver applications to employers;
- to deliver messages, connection requests and notifications between users;
- to display results, transcripts, and metrics to the relevant employer;
- to process payments and manage credit balances;
- to send transactional and optional notification email (see below);
- to secure the Service, prevent abuse, moderate reported content, and enforce limits;
- with your consent, to measure how the site is used and how people arrive at it.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your private messages or your uploaded files to train AI models.
What other people can see
Public: your chatter or employer profile, your feed posts and comments, reviews you write, and job posts. These are visible to anyone, including search engines.
Not public: your email address is never shown to other users. Your Telegram (and an employer's WhatsApp) is released only to someone you have an accepted connection with, and only while you leave contact sharing switched on. Your numeric chat score is not public — others see only whether you are verified — and an employer sees the number only if they spend a credit to reveal it.
Private: messages and their attachments are visible to the two people in the conversation. Resumes attached to an application are visible to the employer you applied to. These files are stored in a private bucket and served through short-lived links rather than public URLs.
Staff access
A small number of ChatterMock staff can access accounts and content where it is necessary to run the Service — to investigate reported content, respond to a support request, detect fraud, scam or impersonation, or fix a technical fault. We limit this to what the situation requires, and we do not browse private messages out of curiosity.
Access to private messages is recorded. When a member of staff opens a conversation, we log who opened it, when, and whose accounts were involved. If you want to know whether your messages have been accessed, ask us and we will tell you.
We may also review aggregate, non-identifying activity to understand how the Service is used.
Cookies and similar technologies
Strictly necessary cookies keep you signed in and keep the site secure. These cannot be switched off, because the Service does not work without them, and we do not ask for consent to set them.
Analytics and advertising — Google Analytics and the Reddit advertising pixel — load only if you accept them. If you decline, or have not answered, they are never placed. You can change your answer at any time using Cookie settings in the footer of any page.
Email you receive
We send account email (sign-in codes, password resets and payment receipts) which cannot be switched off, because it is how you get into and keep control of your account.
Notification email — new roles matching your profile, new messages, connection requests, updates on your applications, new applicants — is optional. Every one of those carries an unsubscribe link, and you can change any of them from your settings at any time.
Roles: who controls applicant data
For data collected through an employer's invite link, the employer that created the invite is the data controller and decides why the data is collected; ChatterMock acts as a processor on their behalf. If you are an applicant and want that data accessed or deleted, contact the employer you applied to. We will assist employers in fulfilling such requests.
For your own ChatterMock account — your profile, messages, posts and applications — we are the controller, and you can contact us directly.
AI processing
Mock-chat transcripts and related context are sent to third-party AI model providers (via OpenRouter) to generate fan replies and to grade responses. Do not include information in a mock chat that you would not want processed by an AI provider. Private messages, resumes and message attachments are not sent to AI providers.
Service providers
We share data only with providers that help us run the Service, including:
- hosting and database (Supabase) for storage and authentication;
- application hosting (Vercel);
- AI model routing (OpenRouter) for fan role-play and grading;
- email delivery (Resend);
- payment processing (Atlos) for credit purchases;
- bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile) on public forms;
- analytics and advertising measurement (Google, Reddit) — only with your consent.
Data retention
We retain account, profile and assessment data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period, subject to legal and accounting requirements. Accounts that never confirm their email address are deleted automatically after 14 days.
Deleting your account removes your profile, applications, messages, posts and uploaded files. A message you unsend is removed for both people and its attachments are deleted; a record that a message existed remains in the conversation.
Security
We use measures such as tenant isolation (row-level security), column-level database permissions on sensitive fields, a private storage bucket with short-lived signed links for resumes and message attachments, access-controlled service credentials, encrypted transport, and rate limiting. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Service is for adults working in the adult-content industry and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from people under 18; if you believe a minor has an account, contact us and we will remove it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to withdraw consent, or to object to certain processing. You can edit or delete most of your data yourself from your profile and settings; for anything else, contact us and we will respond within a reasonable period. Applicants who came through an employer's invite link should contact that employer (see "Roles" above).
International users
We may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
Changes and contact
We may update this Policy; the "Last updated" date reflects the latest version. For privacy questions or requests, contact privacy@chattermock.com. See also our Terms of Service.
